How Micro IT Industry collects, uses and protects the personal information you share with us.

Last updated: September 4, 2026

1. Overview

Micro IT Industry ("Micro IT Industry", "we", "us" or "our") builds custom software, web, mobile, cloud and blockchain solutions for clients worldwide. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit microitindustry.com, contact us, apply for a role or engage us for services, how we use that information, and the choices you have over it.

By using this website you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please stop using the site and contact us with any concerns.

2. Information we collect

We only collect information that we need in order to answer you, deliver our services and keep the site working. That falls into the following categories:

  • Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, company name and the contents of any message you send through our contact form, by email or over the phone.
  • Recruitment information: the CV, cover letter, work history and portfolio links you submit when applying for a role through our careers page.
  • Client and project information: business contact details, project requirements, and any data you choose to share with us while we scope or deliver an engagement.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring page and the pages you view, collected automatically by our hosting and analytics providers.
  • Communication records: correspondence with our team, including support requests and meeting notes, kept so that we can pick up where a conversation left off.

We do not intentionally collect special-category data (such as health, biometric or political data), and we ask that you do not send it to us through this website.

3. How we use your information

  • To respond to enquiries, prepare proposals and quotes, and provide the services you ask for.
  • To administer and deliver client projects, including support, maintenance and invoicing.
  • To review job applications and communicate with candidates about roles.
  • To operate, secure and improve this website, including diagnosing faults and preventing abuse.
  • To send service-related messages such as project updates, scheduling and billing notices.
  • To send marketing communications where you have asked to receive them; you can opt out at any time.
  • To comply with our legal, tax and accounting obligations, and to establish or defend legal claims.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.

4. Cookies and analytics

This site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Strictly necessary cookies keep the site secure and functioning. We also use privacy-friendly analytics provided by Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns, such as which pages are read most and where visitors arrive from.

Analytics data is aggregated and is not used to identify individual visitors. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; the site will continue to work, though some preferences may not be remembered.

6. Sharing and disclosure

We share personal information only where it is necessary, and only with parties that are bound to protect it:

  • Service providers who host our website, send our email, store our files and process payments, acting on our instructions.
  • Professional advisers such as accountants, auditors and lawyers, where required for their services.
  • Authorities or regulators where we are legally required to disclose information.
  • A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

7. Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it. Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are typically deleted within 24 months. Client records are retained for the life of the engagement and afterwards for as long as tax, accounting and contractual requirements demand. Unsuccessful job applications are kept for up to 12 months so that we can consider you for future roles, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

8. International transfers

We operate from Pakistan and the United Kingdom, and some of our service providers are located elsewhere. Where personal information is transferred outside your country, we take steps to ensure it remains protected, including using providers that offer appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy of it.
  • Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Ask us to delete information where we no longer have a reason to keep it.
  • Object to or ask us to restrict certain processing, including direct marketing.
  • Request a portable copy of information you provided to us.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that already took place.
  • Complain to your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email microitindustry@gmail.com. We will respond within the time frame required by applicable law, and we may ask you to verify your identity first.

10. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege permissions for our team and regular review of the systems we rely on. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take any incident seriously and will notify you and the relevant authority where the law requires it.

11. Children's privacy

This website is intended for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services, systems or legal obligations change. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Where the changes are significant, we will make a reasonable effort to notify you directly.
